In July of 2017, a few college students were dreaming of revival on the campus of Mississippi State University. While sitting and dreaming we were moved to pray into hosting a 72 hour period of prayer, worship, interecession, and scripture declaration for the campus and the city of Starkville. In just two weeks, we planned the 72 hour period of prayer & worship, and saw God move mightily in our city. This led us to establishing the MSU Prayer Furnace, and gathering every month for an extended time of prayer, as well as weekly for 2 hours. After a month or so of praying we felt that what God was doing through the prayer furnace was more than just on the campus, but focused in our city as well. With this we transitioned to the Starkville Prayer Furnace and have been that ever since!
